This Georgia boy's enjoying being an ATLien, so far

... what else should I do/check out, though?

October 18, 2018

First, I have to apologize for being slack on the "thank you's." Thanks to EVERYONE for making me feel so welcome these first two months in the "A!" It's been a whirlwind experience so far, and about the ONLY thing that could make it better would be my house in South Carolina selling so my better half and our cats could be here with me. A couple more Falcons wins and the Braves still plaiyng ball in October would be cool, too, but I'm a lifer, so "wait til..." isn't new to me. :-)

Here's what I've squeezed in so far, between long days on the job:

6 - Braves games

2- Falcons games

2 - concerts ... 5 Seconds of Summer, Just Loud & the Dirty Heads

1- Atlanta United match (in Mr. Blank's suite - hello! Thanks, SO much to the ATLUTD family! photo below)

1 - comedy show featuring our very own Jeff Dauler and producer Jeannine (just last night!)

Now, let me say this ... being a Georgia boy who grew up outside Augusta, it's not like I haven't taken in some Braves & Falcons (Hawks, too!) games before ... these are just what I've gotten in since I arrived in mid-August. I've also spent many a sweaty day at Six Flags and enjoyed some weekends at Stone Mountain, too! Got to enjoy the Georgia Aquarium a few years back with my nephew, too.

Now listen, I'm SURE I'm missing out on many MORE "Atlanta" experiences, so be sure to hit me back with suggestions and I'll let y'all know what else I experience while getting acclimated to the big city.
