Irma has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm as it moves into our area this morning.

The National Hurricane Center says the storm is still capable of producing hurricane force wind gusts and steady winds of 30-40 mph as it moves through the Atlanta area.

Keep an eye on older trees, or trees with large dead limbs on them, as they will be the first to fall in winds that speed.

Power outages have begun as well. Transformers were just heard blowing in Roswell, GA.
