Tia Mowry: A "Sister, Sister" Reboot Could Be Coming

June 1, 2017

Another 90's sitcom may make a return to TV soon.

Tia Mowry, of the show Sister, Sister has confirmed that a reboot of the show is in the works. It does, however, sound like this one is ways off from hitting your television screen.

Tia told Nylon Magazine that she and Tamera Mowry are actively working on reviving the sitcom. Unfortunately, the process of finding the right people to put the show together has been difficult, she revealed. The sisters are currently looking for a producer, writer, and a "leader" to "run the show," she said.

A possible Sister, Sister revival follows a growing number of 90's shows that have made a return.

Netflix has started production on the third season of the Full House revival, Fuller House. A revival of Twin Peaks is currently airing on Showtime. Plus, ABC is bringing back Roseanne and NBC plans to air new episodes of Will & Grace in the 2017-2018 television season.
