'American Idol' Reboot Sets March Premiere Date

This is American Idol, and we finally know when it will happen!
American Idol will return to the small screen on March 11 at 8/7c on ABC for a two-hour premiere. Ryan Seacrest made the announcement on Live with Kelly & Ryan this morning (November 6).
American Idol, which premiered in June 2002 on FOX, ended its first-run last April. ABC has rebooted the show with Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie as the show's judges. Ryan Seacrest is returning as the program's host.
