Georgia On My Screen: Jimmy Carter and the Rise of the Film Industry

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum has opened an exhibit called Georgia On My Screen: Jimmy Carter and the Rise of the Film Industry. The exhibit features artifacts, scenery and historical information on over 60 productions that have been filmed in Georgia in the last 45+ years. We spoke with Dr. Meredith Evans, Director of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library to disucss all things film and the exhibit!

 

The exhibit is open:

Monday- Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Sunday, noon - 4:45 p.m.

Admission is:

$12

$10 for senior citizens, military and students

ages 16 and younger free.
