When their daughter Reese was in the hospital last year, Jenn and Grant loved hearing from survivors of childhood cancer. So this year, they wanted to connect current Aflac Cancer Center patients with survivor families to provide hope and support. On Saturday, Survivor Stories was born. Thank you to these generous folks for making it possible!

Survivors who bravely shared their stories included Courtney Cooke, Monica and Jeannie Sandoval, Dee Boydston-Klerk, Nicole and Ruby Eliason and Jordan Wilson.

Zaxby's 2080 Lower Roswell Road and Zaxby's 591 S Marietta Pkwy provided lunch for the entire floor of patients, staff and survivor volunteers. Yum!

Children's Healthcare Of Atlanta's Aflac Cancer Center team provided event space, gold balloons and coordinated everyone's participation.

Atlanta’s Marriott Marquis provided toiletries for in patient families.

Dinner A’fare's Stephanie and Ken Wright provided gift certificates for the current patients for a 3 dinner package, each dinner will serve 2-3 people and will be delivered to their door.

Sing First! Music classes at home and instruments from Justine Lemmo and Jillian Maldonado's company. Sing First! classes are music and movement classes for children 0-7 and the people who love them to enjoy together.

Lauren White provided napkins with gold ribbon for childhood cancer awareness.

Josh Rifkin of Songs for Kids Foundation provided live music.

Jeff and Callie Dauler provided gratitude journals for all inpatient families.

Special moments started and friendships began. --#gogold #childhoodcancerawareness
