The writers of the 1999 TLC song “No Scrubs” have been added to the credits for Ed Sheeran’s smash hit "Shape of You.”

Apparently, it wasn’t actually the songwriters who actually noticed the similarities. It was actually fans of Ed Sheeran that pointed out the fact that the tracks sounded similar.

I don't hear it after listening to both songs, but maybe you can hear it.

Can you hear it? Here are both songs:

So the question is what happens now?

Sheeran and his team of writers have decided to give the creators of “No Scrubs” (Kandi Burruss and Tameka Cottle) credit as songwriters on the track “Shape of You.”

What does that mean for the creators of “No Scrubs?” Burruss and Cottle will actually get paid, according to AJC.

Seriously, they will get a bonus cash for “Shape of You” every time it plays on the radio, every time it is performed in public, and every time it is downloaded.

Crazy how this world works, right? Someone actually made a mashup of "Shape of You" and "No Scrubs." Listen below:
